"To whom it may concern,

I have worked alongside Paul Taylor for the last three to four months.

Paul has shown exceptional ability in being able to pick up the content management system – which he was not familiar with prior us working together – and basically run with it. The speed at which he learnt the ins and outs of the system were very welcome indeed, especially during a time which was full of very tight deadlines. On the subject of deadlines, Paul again amazed with the speed with which he was able to turn projects around that were in every case completely foreign to him.

In my personal experience, Paul's strengths lay in all aspects to do with page creation and manipulation, whether basic copying and pasting into the CMS, down to bespoke coding to facilitate a specific web effect or function; the ability to manage a series of projects at the same time, from conception to completion without supervision; superior attention to detail, and the ability to come up with new or better ways to solve problems or issues and implement them effectively. Paul has a bright and cheery disposition and is very dedicated to his work. He is also industrious and always keen to learn something new.

In my personal experience as Paul's colleague, I would highly recommend him to any prospective employer, not just on the basis of his excellent skills set and go-getter attitude to work, but also because he has a wonderfully-infectious happy personality.

Kind regards, Axxxxx xxxxx (University of Hull)"
